OVERVIEW
Nicaragua is a beautiful, lush, green country, and is home to some of the most humble, loving people you’ll ever meet. It’s also one of the poorest countries in the western hemisphere, where nearly half of the population lives in poverty…many of which don’t have access to the basics like clean water which can impact their health and well-being as well as their future prospects.
IMPACT
You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with the community and roll up your sleeves to dig water lines, build bathrooms & wood-burning stoves, help with community agriculture, and work with students at a local school. Help improve the health and wellbeing of these communities while building relationships and sharing God’s hope.
In addition, if you sponsor a child through Compassion International, you will have the opportunity to meet that child.
