How it Ends | Week 3: Real Hope

It’s easy to lose hope when thinking about the end of the world. Heck, it’s easy to lose hope thinking about what we have to do the rest of our day today. We can have hope now even in the painful parts of our life because the end is coming and the end is only the beginning.

Process, journal or discuss the themes of this article - here's a few questions to get the ball rolling...

Welcome to the Chaser–a few questions after the weekend service to start conversations. If this is your first time in a group, or your group has new members, take a few minutes and introduce yourself. Two truths and a lie is always a good place to start.

  1. How do you rank as a doomsday prepper? If today was the start of a robot, zombie apocalypse, how would you survive?

  2. Time warp, incoming. After hearing the message, what do you think of this verse Kyle shared? How does it relate to “the scratch?

  3. Read this scripture out loud. There’s a lot in there. It’s a picture of the end. (And the beginning.) What jumps out to you?

  4. What is something in your life that you believe is at, or near, the end? How can we look beyond that end to The End–to Jesus?

  5. Why did Jesus die for each one of us? What does it mean to be a Father who would sacrifice everything for his children?

The End is beyond “the scratch.” Spend some time each day this week listening to God of the breakthrough, and asking God what it means that he “hasn’t failed us yet.”
