Read 2 Timothy 4:2. No matter what we do we must train to get results. Discuss what healthy training habits may look like right now, whether it’s in your relationships, finances, or spiritual health.
This year has set us all back in one way or another, but perhaps there are hidden opportunities available for us. Take two minutes to think about how you can best take advantage of the opportunity you have in this unique time, then share it with the group.
The choices we make directly impact our life. Sometimes we may not feel like doing the thing that we know is best for us each day — spending time in the Bible, getting that workout in, having the difficult conversation, or even just not hitting snooze. Identify one choice you’ll make this week that will help you train.
Each person identify one thing they’d like prayer for (sad your vacation just got cancelled, not sure what childcare will look like, that step you just said you’re going to take). Share that request with the group, and someone else in the group will pray for you.
