People Skills | Week 3: How to Be Interesting
Great relationships are all about being interesting and interested. Let’s start with some models. Who is the most interesting person you’ve ever met? And why?
Interested / Interesting people are committed, curious, and humble. Which of those comes easy for you? Which is the toughest? Why? (Protip: putting humble at the bottom of your list doesn’t make you seem more humble.)
You had a practice run at this question during service. Here it is again. “What is the most interesting thing about you and what were the conditions?”
If Jesus asked you "what would you want me to do for you?" how would you answer and why?
People are interesting when they reflect parts of God’s character. Take a moment and think about how you see God in each one of the people in your group. Then, everyone share.
Aren't interesting friends the best? You know, the people that show up and life is suddenly more exciting? These people have something different that draws people in—and it's not by being the smartest or loudest.
