GO Local is when loving your neighbor gets practical

On GO Local week 2018, we went into our neighborhoods and did exactly what God calls us to do: serve others. We got our hands dirty cleaning up trash, planting gardens, making friends—turning love into practical, physical reality. It’s how the church shows the world what Jesus looks like.

Keep the momentum you created with GO Local going:

1. Talk to the organization you served this weekend
Ask them how you can help them—either doing the same kind of work, or something totally different.

2. Serve at your local Crossroads site
From First Impressions, Kids' Club to Student Ministry, we have a place for you.

3. Serve one of Crossroads’ partner organizations near you
Check out some local organizations that would be honored to have you serve with them.

4. Not close to a Crossroads site?
Here are a couple ideas you can start yourself: grab some trash bags, friends, and pick up around your neighborhood, cut the lawn of a neighbor in need, or find an organization in your community you can serve.
