You may think about foreign countries and trade deals but in this case the Ambassador-at-large deals with one specific piece of foriegn and domestic policy. Human trafficking. His work with trafficking didn’t start with his ambassadorship. He has done everything from being a federal prosecutor to working with the United Nations and even spending 3 years in India working with the International Justice Mission.
