Happy Independence Day! Let's begin. We may not be able to recite who won the 2016 World Series, but we can remember that Kindergarten teacher’s name or that boss who impacted our life. Share the name of a person who guided you, what they did, and why it was impactful.

Read Acts 8:27-31. Why do you think this man knew it was important to have a guide to assist him in understanding what he was reading?

What are the characteristics, positive or negative, that make for a healthy guide? And which of these have you experienced?

Read Matthew 28:16-20. Jesus instructed his disciples to replicate their faith in others, baptize them, and teach them to follow the ways of God. Gut check time. Have you ever done this? Have you led someone and seen that person grow? Share the story.
