You Don’t Have to Stay Stuck
Leave Lies Behind
Discussion questions to help you unpack the message with others.
- What animal do you think best represents your personality and why?
- What stood out to you most from the message?
- Think about a time you discovered a lie. How did it make you feel?
- What is one thing that tends to frustrate you or weigh you down? What is typically your initial response?
- Take a moment to reflect on someone who exhibits hope in your life. Why do they stand out to you?
- Where in your life do you want healing? What prevents you from seeking that healing from God?
- Read Ephesians 2:4-10. How do these verses give you hope?
- What’s one thing you can do this week to step closer to grace and healing?
Prayer
Let’s end our time praying together. You can say something like;
“God, thank you for saving us with Your grace.
Please help us to discern the lies around us and give us
the strength to pursue healing and freedom. Amen.”
Bonus Questions
Check these out if you’re on a roll and want to go a little deeper.
- Read Philippians 3:13. Is there something you need to let go of and forget? What would freedom from that part of your life look like?
- Share with the group one way you have seen grace and hope in your life or in someone else’s life around you.
New around here? We'd love to connect
The world wants you to believe you’re stuck, but Jesus says otherwise. He gives us the choice to ask for what we need and step into it. Ready to see what happens when you put your faith to work?
