Read John 1:1. It can be hard for us to fully wrap our minds around Jesus in his fullness. What has this looked like for you? What helps you get a bigger picture of His character?
What aspects of Jesus’ character are easy for you to receive, and which ones are difficult, as we see in John 1? How has that impacted how you interact with other people?
What happens if we miss the fullness of Jesus’ character? How does that impact our faith?
One way that we can understand more of Jesus’ character is by doing the things he did. What’s one way you can choose to look more like Jesus this week?
Let’s end with prayer. You can say something like, “Jesus, thank you for coming down to earth to be with us, to save us. Thank you for the example you set. Please give us the faith to believe all the truths about who you are, so we can see the fullness of your character. Amen.”
Who we put in the center of our bracket matters, right? Well, no matter how terrible your bracket was this year, there’s a winning bracket out there. When we put Jesus in the center of our lives, we get a light that pushes out all the darkness.
