Seeing the Supernatural | Faithful in a Faithless World Week 6 | Anywhere Service
How to be Faithful in a Faithless World
Discussion questions to help you unpack the message with others.
- Who would win in a battle between Gandalf (LOTR) and Geralt of Rivia (The Witcher)? (Or pick your own matchup.)
- What stood out to you in this week’s message?
- How do you react when you hear about supernatural experiences in the Bible? What if those experiences happen today?
- Daniel didn’t understand all the supernatural stuff God showed him. Why do you think God sometimes uses confusing things to communicate with us? How do you respond when you don’t understand?
- One way we can engage in the supernatural is through prayer. What’s something you need prayer for? Commit to praying for each other this week and come back next week to share what that experience was like.
Prayer
Now close your time in prayer. Here’s an example: “God, thank you for fighting for us. Give us the faith to trust in You and help us remember the steadfast love You have for us. Amen.”
Bonus Questions
Check these out if you’re on a roll and want to go a little deeper!
- Read Ephesians 6:12. Where are you experiencing a supernatural battle happening in your life right now?
- Read 2 Corinthians 3:18 and 2 Corinthians 4:3-4. All of us are always being spiritually formed by something, and that determines how we engage in the supernatural battle. What do you feel like is spiritually forming you right now?
- The most epic moments of your life will be spiritual in nature. Where have you seen or felt the Spirit working in your life?

Demons…angels…princes—the Bible has some weird stuff in it. It would be easy to just write it off as irrelevant nonsense. Yet right in the middle of this weirdness, there’s a surprisingly compelling message for us thousands of years later. Join us today as Brian talks about how God uses the supernatural to show us that we’re loved.
