When was the last time someone else changed your life for the better? How did they do it?

What stood out to you most from the message?

Think of someone who you feel has represented God to you in some way? How did that influence your view of God? If you can’t think of anyone, what types of characteristics would you look for in someone representing God?

What does it mean to you to be God’s representative now? What might that look like in your life?

What can make being God’s representative challenging?

What helps you focus on caring for the people around you? What distracts you from investing in those relationships?

What is one way you can intentionally invest in the needs and feelings of someone else this week?

Let’s end with prayer. You can say something like, “Jesus, thank you for the ways you’ve changed our lives. Help us to be more like you so that the people around us can see more of you. Help us to focus on others, the same way You did. Amen.”
