God Invites You to Embrace Struggle & Do Hard Things
Describe your “perfect day.”
What stood out to you most from the message?
How has technology helped connect you with others?
Describe a moment within the past week that was hard, emotionally, physically, or spiritually. How did you respond to the difficulty?
Take a moment to reflect on someone who has positively impacted your life. What did they surrender to be there for you?
Now think of someone you have positively impacted. What kind of sacrifice did that impact require?
Read Hebrews 11:32-39. What is your reaction when you hear these stories?
If you were to lay some things in your life on the table for God, what would they be? What is one step you can take this week to begin to surrender those things to God?
Let’s end our time praying together. You can say something like;
“God, thank you for providing for us in our lives, and we know You have more to give. Help us to see Your vision and give us strength to do the hard thing. Amen.”
Spiritual formation and growth don’t occur when we’re happy and safe. It happens when we deal with hardship and invite God into our lives. As a part of the family of God, we’re inviting you to join Senior Pastor Brian Tome and learn more about the role that struggle can play in your life as a follower of Jesus.
