Expect all of the elements mentioned above (and some mud, thanks Hurricane Helene), but also be expectant for God to surprise all of us....
Beyond that, we will have drinking water, portolets, and firewood if you’re camping. (No food will be provided.) Beyond that, it’s BYOEverything. Space is limited — if you can carpool, please do.
What To Bring
No matter what, these are your must-haves.

- Snacks
- Drinks
- Food
- Hiking Boots or Walking Shoes that can get muddy
- Headlamp / Flashlight

If You're Camping
On Friday Night
You're welcome to do primitive camping similar to how we do it at MAN CAMP and Woman Camp. You'll be hiking in from the parking area with all your gear (between 10 and 30 minutes, depending on where you park). You can sleep in your car or use overlanding gear in the parking areas. Car camping spaces are available in the parking lot only. Here's what you need to pack in addition to the list above:
Clothes
Two main ideas: keep yourself dry, and dress in layers. Extra socks, a jacket for night, a rain layer, etc. You'll also want work boots, or something rugged enough to handle hiking in the woods all day.
Toiletries
You pretty much just need Wet Wipes (for pooping) and a towel (like a shammy, just in case). A toothbrush and toothpaste is sort of optional. Don't bother with a razor. You probably don't need deodorant, unless it's that prescription deodorant.
Food
Bring food that can be stored without refrigeration, and that doesn't need a whole lot of prep time (unless you're a campfire gourmet). Clif-Bars, jerky, and cheese and crackers are all great options.
Drinks
We will have drinking water onsite, but if you want anything else, bring it. You're welcome to bring adult beverages, but be responsible. This isn't a kegger.
- Tent
- Sleeping Bag
- Sleeping Pad
- Lighter + Firestarters
- Headlamp
- Something to Drink Out Of
- Utensils
- A Plate
- Earplugs
- Trash Bags
- A Wagon to Pull Your Gear
What Not To Bring
- Guns or explosives of any kind
- Power tools
- Trailers
- ATVs
- RVs
- Pets
- Anything you don’t want to get dirty
High school students are headed to Base Camp
Everyone is invited to the Revival at Base Camp (adults, students, families—everybody). If you'd like your high school student to attend Friday evening, we're providing transportation from most Crossroads sites. Sign up using the links below to leave from your site.
If you plan to camp as a family, they can arrive with you and still participate in the student activities, but if your student rides the provided transportation from a site, they must return to that site on Friday evening. Find departure and return times in the links below specific to your site.
Ready for a revival?
FAQS
Do I have to come for the whole time/do I have to camp?
No, you're welcome to come and go as you please.
Do I need to bring money?
We won't be selling anything at the Revival. It's all free. But make sure you read the “What to Bring” section above, because we're only providing water and portalets.
What is the process for reserving a campsite?
It's first come first serve. We'll have plenty of area for tent camping, and you will likely have to hike your gear for at least 1/4 mile (so we recommend a wagon). There won't be a specific car camping area, but you can sleep in your car or overland in the parking area if you want.
Are there handicapped accessibility or accommodations available?
We will have transportation from parking to the main tent area for anyone who has difficulty walking. But the property is mostly rolling grassy hills with a few gravel roads for access. There's not significant infrastructure or any paved areas.
Tell me more about the restroom facilities?
Just your everyday portalet. We'll have tons of them. Or you can poop in the woods!
Is this open to those outside of Crossroads?
Yes, EVERYBODY is invited to this.
Can I bring adult beverages?
Sure, BYOB. But the goal of this weekend isn't a kegger, it's spiritual renewal. So be responsible.
Can I bring my gun?
No, don't bring guns or crossbows or nunchucks or any other weapons. You won't need them.
Is there some type of age limit for kids?
Not at all—everyone is welcome. But anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, so you're responsible for your kids when you're out there.
Will the event be recorded or live streamed?
Tent sessions plan to be recorded, reviewed, and posted soon after where possible, but there will be no live stream.
What happens if I have to leave in the middle of the night?
Then don't wake anybody up!
What happens if it rains?
Then we'll all get wet.
Do I need to bring a chair to sit on during worship?
Yes, absolutely. Make sure you read the “What to Bring” section before you come out.
Are there water stations?
Yep, we'll have plenty of drinking water available.
