Think of this trip as UNDIVIDED 2.0 as we continue the UNDIVIDED journey to South Africa. We want the relationships that have been formed and the understanding that has come from UNDIVIDED to go a level deeper. We are journeying to South Africa to connect with the experience South Africans had with Apartheid and, upon our return, can use that experience to strengthen us as reconcilers, focused and passionate about those areas that impact the racial inequity we experience in our city and country.

There are 50 two bedroom thatched bungalows. Each Bungalow has a tea and coffee station, en suite bathroom with both bath and shower facilities and a veranda where guests can enjoy watching a glorious African sunset. Zebra, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Impala, and Springbok roam the grounds outside the rooms. Rooms overlook a beautiful lake with a rock wall dam and beautiful waterfall.
Expect a typical breakfast buffet of eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, toast, pastries, cereal, yogurt, and fruit plus coffee, tea, or juice. Lunches will be bagged lunches of PB&J sandwiches, fruit, and chips. Dinner will be a buffet with a salad bar, usually chicken, beef, or pork entrees with plenty of pasta, potatoes, and veggies.

Build the Future aims to take as many kids off the street and enroll them in our preschools, so they can be safe, while learning and playing. They are striving to plant preschools in areas that are densely populated with local inhabitants, who are the poorest of the poor, but who’s children deserve an education and nourishment. They go where no-one else will, for the future of South Africa.
