God has done some amazing things in and through our community in the past 25 years. Take a look below to see some of them. Want to share your story? There’s still time! Fill out the form on the my25 page before June 13th.
I was attending another church but felt drawn to Crossroads. After visiting once I was hooked and began attending the Eastside regularly. Two years later my brother began attending with me after praying and praying for him to turn his life around. He now loves Crossroads and feels at home there.
My last church said “you’re so different; please go away.” Crossroads said “you’re so different [like us]; please come here. We saved a seat and a coffee for you, and we can’t wait to learn from you.” Sometimes all it takes is being different, too.
I was a lost soul when first introduced to Crossroads by a friend. God had amazing things in store for me - I was baptized by my grandma here and even met my husband while serving at the Christmas Gift Drive.
My husband learned to worship and how important relationship with other dudes is at Man Camp. I learned what a good father looks like at Woman Camp. I’ve met my closest friends at Crossroads & we’ve strengthened our marriages at Couples Camp. God’s presence is all over that land!
Getting the opportunity to see my wife grow spiritually, give her life to Jesus, and baptizing her was a game change for our family.
I was going through difficult times, so someone recommended Crossroads to me to find calm. Not knowing how to speak English, I decided to stop by, and from that day, my life changed. Crossroads gave me good friends who helped me get ahead in this beautiful country. Thank you
This volunteer team has turned in to more of a family. This is our annual Christmas Party.
I joined a Fertility Small Group for women in 2017. Through that group, i knee I wasn't alone in that journey and had women praying for me and covering me in love. During our time together, ALL of us became mothers! During that time I learned to fully trust God.
I attended a church but wasn’t hearing anything to help me today. I was battling depression and in the darkest times of my life. I went to Crossroads, and it was the first week of the Consumed Journey. It changed my life! Crossroads literally saved my life with showing me God in a relevant way.
On Thanksgiving 2020, I was sitting on a couch with my best friend as we discussed how we felt "stuck." I was dealing with a lot of issues at the time and on Christmas eve I decided to give crossroads a try. I knew I needed to put God first, here I am 6 months later and my life has done a 180.
My very first Crossroads small group leader ended up being the one that convinced my (now) wife to go on a first date with me. Celebrated our 3rd anniversary last week!
I started going to crossroads when I was going through a divorce. This is where I found hope and God again. This is where I found friends and learned to forgive. Now years later I have remarried to the man I divorced and our marriage is so much better then it was before.
He has introduced me to some of the best God loving people who bring so much joy to my life and those around them! L
January I began to regularly watch crossroads services online from my school in Indiana. Around that same time, I applied for a student clinic rotation at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital which is very competitive and I recently learned that I got placed there for 14 weeks. I think that’s god’s work
The first Couples Camp during wine time, God showed up in a big way to heal our marriage. We have attend every Couples Camp since that moment.
July 2015 service was about taking a step of faith if you feel like God is calling you to do something. So that’s when we knew we needed to sell our Ohio house move to Kentucky. Then we heard about being brave. That encouraged us to foster a 9 year old who later got baptized at Florence Crossroads!
In 2019, I was in a spiritual desert. I searched high and low for God, but he felt so far away. I was angry at him because I thought he had abandoned me. A message taught me I was putting something before him. Once that was removed, God showed up louder than ever before. He heard my S.O.S.
I have found community through amazing women in small groups who have transformed my life by their encouragement, support, prayer and love. Growing with them has been the most rewarding thing for me about being part of Crossroads.
He's used Crossroads to enable me to reach out and volunteer for my community and He's brought good people into my life!
16 yrs ago I walked into Oakley. It’s the single best decision I’ve ever made. I can’t imagine who I would’ve been, where my relationship with God would be or my life without the impact of the lasting friendships I’ve made. May God’s purposes continued to be fulfilled in & through Crossroads.
Our hearts were drawn to foster care with the Crossroads series “A place at the table” years ago. Our table has since grown by 2 littles, and our days have grown harder and better. In our adoption journey, we have relied on Crossroads to sustain our faith and to hold our hands.
To bring our family closer to god that’s enjoyable for all from our 9 year old g son to mamaw and papaw
We run hard for the Father and are proud to be part of the team sharing in ministry so all may be connected to the Father. This picture was one of our first Go Locals right after we moved for Jon's job @crsrds. 2021 now I am part of the team as well.
Crossroads has challenged me spiritually more than any other church I’ve been to. To realize my brothers and sisters in Christ are not just the people in my community, but people around the world. I’ve joined groups, worshiped, and traveled the world. Crossroads is home.
Michael AJ R.
It was at our first Man Camp in the fall of 2017. It was the last morning and my son heard a message from Chuck that moved his heart. He went to the MASH Tent and gave his life to Christ. The greatest blessing for me was I was able to baptize him with Brian that morning! God is so GOOD!!!
WOW 😳 h WOW-where do I start! From Cincy to Africa to India to... God has called us to student ministry (challenging, humbling&...generational). 2 years ago , I was able to bring a grand daughter to Africa!!! Identity in Christ=Focus, Family & FUN ->>change&learning continues🥰
I have learned more about the Bible at Crossroads for the last 10 years, then all my years in Church. My husband and i will be married 28 years in June. When Crossroads first opened in Florence we started attending, it change our lives. the way we give back to God (what is his) the friends we made a
Mike Ames has been volunteering for twelve years, with the Oakley facilities team. Mike always brings Good New’s. He never has a bad day, and is the closest person ( I know ) that reflect the characteristics of Jesus.
The countless volunteers who have become friends and family since starting at Crossroads. This place gives community a whole new meaning! From time in Kids' Club, CSM, FI, and Oakley- love it all!
Crossroads has given my girls a day to be excited every week. My special needs daughter loves that people love her and are so kind. My little one loves sharing what she learns each Sunday. Crossroads has openly welcomed us like family and had allowed me to share my excitement of faith with my ones!
I fled Cincinnati running from a God who had felt like a set of rules without love. I went to Louisiana and met my wife and crossroads at the same time. There I met the church that acted as the hands and feet of Jesus and it brought me back to love people.
My daughter was closest to God on our first Go Bolivia trip. It was beautiful. And now years later, even though she’s far from God, I know this was crucial. As He continues to pursue her, this will remain a firm foundation in that victory.
I first found God through a near-death experience in an Operating Room. I was dead for like a minute and a half. After about ten years, Crossroads taught me to be myself in the eyes of God. It took that to gain my confidence back enough to come out of the closet as queer, let alone live with my PTSD
I convinced my friends to volunteer as a team for the first time and started a life long journey to help Cincinnati become a better city. It really strengthened our friendship and gave us a mission for life.
Attending Crossroads for the past 15 years has been a life changing experience for me and my family. Had had moved me in many ways to serve others as I have been served. Taking part in Undivided, Journey groups , the Justice Team, 3 Go Trips and a ladies group is just to name a few, ushered for 13
I went on a Micro trip to India in 2014 and 9 trips later Marsha and I went to Nepal on invitation. We have now lived here since 1/2018 working with AoGE. Thank you Crossroads.
In a multitude of ways, but maybe most notably, by connecting me to my husband through a running group. I definitely was not looking for a significant other by joining that group, but God has other plans in mind.
It provided a framework on which to build and grow our family during the early years of our marriage. It helped form an amazing son and daughter who were able to benefit from programs like Kids Club.
I went to South Africa in 2006 expecting to make a huge impact there, and God changed my life there. I started to really know him as my Father, after this trip. It broke me in all the right ways.
MC 10/16 - I felt I "heard" from God for the 1st time. My wife and I were separated. During quiet time I prayed "please tell me what to do with all of our marriage issues" and I saw, in my mind, a sentence in BOLD ALL CAPS that said "GIVE IT TO ME". Our marriage was saved over the next year.
Got me to trust in Jesus. On a Go Nola mission trip in 2010 some young ladies prayed for my son. This was all new to me. About 2-3 weeks later he got clean & sober after he heard from God. So I knew there was something about the power of Jesus, and I want to know more. Jesus was pursuing me.
There are women, then there are women of God. I joined a small group in 2010 & 11 years later, we've lost some but gained some. At the end of the day, these ladies are my "safe place" & whether a son needs a kidney, a husband is out of work, or a million other things... These women are a blessing!
I was a broken, lost mess when I was dragged to Crossroads after losing my sister. For the first time I heard of a God that loved me and His son that died to save me and my entire life changed. I now have hope and my life has purpose, including the best community ever!
God used Gil Hopkins to grow me as a man. Gil Challenge me to be a better husband to my spouse. He was never satisfied, with things being just OK. He wanted the best of the people around him. I have grown closer to the Lord, because of this man.
@crsrdschurch has run short of sin to chase millions of people & bless them to attend the #Awaited Christmas Show. Guts, Grit & God’s Glory of every volunteer made this happen and we are never the same. Happy 25th Anniversary #crsrdschurch 🧡
I loved the Cincinnati series when the keys to the kindom fell in
During a recent women's Bible study at Crossroads in spring 2021, I made the decision to be baptized and make public my journey in saying yes to seeking and following a perfect Jesus.
I met my husband by starting a young professionals bible study on the old corkboard! 5 years later I bumped into him in the atrium while we were serving.
Over 18+ years Crossroads helps us grow closer to Jesus daily. We’ve been through campaigns that are truly changing the world. My wife, Necie was impacted through Woman Camp and rededicated herself to Jesus. Through the I’M IN campaign, we both were wrecked (in a good way) through our work in India.
I went to CR 11/18/12 for the 1st time after having a dream I was told to go. I went alone. Baptisms, impromptu. Was going to leave, but felt a “nudge.” I walked up to the team, last minute…crying. I knew why I was led there. I entered the water & my life has never been the same since.
God has called us closer and closer to him through Crossroads. From Kids Club to Greeters, to Go Local, Couples Camp and Small Group Leads to Neighborhood Leaders. We are excited to see where God wants us to go next with Crossroads.
CRDS has given me the opportunity to radically grow spiritually...I had a BIG move when I went to New Orleans on a GO trip. God showed up BIG time to help me heal physically and emotionally from an achilles injury.
16 years ago God told me to back to college & be a teacher. I told my 1st life group that night and they held me accountable to following that call. Without them I would not have had over 1000 students in my class over the years since.
God has used CR to show me that the church is a group of His people.
Since joining Crossroads I feel more connected with God. I attended the young adults group and met a lot of great people, and I love the Crossroads app. Crossroads just has such a great atmosphere! The music and the welcoming people are what I enjoy the most. I look forward to continuing my journey
Crossroads is the Reason I have a relationship with the Lord today. One of the best experiences of my life was being able to Baptize people.Being used to help others experience the life that God has for them is Awesome!
Crossroads impacted life when I was at my lowest. Lost my mom to cancer and a marriage in divorce. Through crossroads I found a community through man camp and serving as a part of worship team. This place is my family and blessed to have a great family around my wife, son, and myself. Much love!
Before Crossroads I was involved in church ministry. After a life changing moment where I communicated my true authentic self. I found myself without a community of believers. God put Nikki into my life. She invited me to church. I went and now Crossroads is where I feel loved and included. #mytribe
In 2012 I started dating someone new after a divorce. He invited me (a recovering Catholic) to Awaited. We both felt deep connection with Crossroads and each other. We began attending weekly and grew closer to God together. We married in 2016. I served in Kids Club and in 2020 joined the staff!
I found myself following my best friends to Crossroads Richmond- the community and the teaching allowed me to meet Jesus, find relationship with Him and later give my life to Him in front of my friends and family. I couldn't be more grateful for the way God's moved through Crossroads.
Crossroads has shown me that I have value and worth as I’ve built a great community. I’ve also answered God’s call to be a Student Ministry leader, where I’ve built so many great relationships with students, and it’s so rewarding to see them grow.
There is a ministry in Lower Price Hill that Crossroad started and I’m positive you don’t even know it. Redeemed Home & Cincinnati Type & Print Museum. We rescued & trained over 25 ladies in 4 years. Call or email me for more details.
14 years ago I walked into Crossroads a broken person on the verge of divorce. Over those 14 years my marriage was redeemed, my kids were taught about God who loves them in a language they understood and through Crossroads I learned no matter how broken I was God was always pursing me loves me.
Countless ways, but none greater than a message by BT in 2019. He was preaching about our purpose with respect to parenting. As people who weren't set on having children, my husband and I wrestled with the message. Ultimately, it led us to build a family, something I will be eternally grateful for.
My friend Mitch invited me to come to Uptown. When I came for my first service at Easter, I had so much fun celebrating Jesus. I realized how good and fun and uplifting my relationship with God truly is! I continued to grow as God gave me great friends at Uptown who have my back.
Crossroads saved my relationship with God during a time that I was becoming lose while in college. Because of Crossroads, I pursue Jesus more than ever before. God’s life is so present in this community and that has allowed me to take action in my mission to bring others to Jesus.
At Crossroads the praise music is uplifting and emotional for me. I love the sermons and how scripture is used into teaching. I feel welcomed and needed and filling those food boxes was amazing. I feel I’m home and I want to do more and make new friends if this is God’s will. Sunday’s are special.
When my husband and I first came to Crossroads, I knew God but not Jesus; my husband had never heard of God’s grace and was never baptized. God worked on us in small groups and messages from the stage. Now my husband has been baptized in church and I love and trust Jesus, telling others how of Him.
I experienced profound healing from grief through the Eve Center at Crossroads Westside and then I met my husband through the Divorce Care provided by Crossroads Oakley. Crossroads has blessed me in so many ways and has transformed my life! ❤️
My girlfriend and I met in August 2017 and started going to Crossroads together. 18 months later we were in Atlanta at the Super Bowl as winners of the Crossroads Super Bowl tickets! God has blessed our relationship through Crossroads!
I reconnected to God back in 2003 at Crossroads and a healing group saved and restored my life. Forever grateful for this community.
Before attending Crossroads, God in my life was who I went to when I needed something and would bargain with. At first, I slowed into going to CR, but I started to get the itch to be there every week and I looked forward to Sunday. Since then I have developed a much different and deeper relationship
Since my first click I’ve discovered that God will never give me up or let me down. He’s never gonna run around or desert me. So good.
We are foster parents and adopted our 3 children. We could not have done that without the love from God and support from Crossroads. We found an amazing group of other foster and adoptive families at Crossroads and many of the kids club workers are also foster/adoptive families. We feel at home here
Freedom from past life. Living victoriously in ministry for the Lord!
God blessed me with amazing spiritual parents who are fire for God!
Crossroads has helped build our family in faith and works. We are more generous, compassionate and value God in our life! One memory is serving at Angel tree and our family dressed as elves! Lmk if you want that oldie but goodie pic!!
We stumbled on Oakley by what we thought was a "fluke,"' but God had plans for us! Now in Columbus, we've grown stronger not only as a family but in our spiritual connection with God and his community. We have a natural desire to be ourselves and reflect the true nature of God in all that we do!
God took me to India with 20 others from Crossroads West Side. My heart was wrecked for the children born out of the sex slave industry.
WC created a space for me to process generational brokenness in my family. A prayer warrior brought me through an intense repentance exercise in which I physically felt the Holy Sprit remove unforgiveness from my soul and the next morning I was baptized in the lake and life has never been the same!
God has used Crossroads as a vessel to bring my family community through camps, groups, serving in Kids’ Club, playing guitar on Mason’s worship team, 4/7 ministry and giving us opportunities to GO! We are grateful for the ways God is using the church to impact our lives so we may spread that light!
I came here at the end of 34yrs of marriage. Unsure of my future but with much faith in God it felt like home. Early on at a service we were asked to make a financial pledge & I did. My finances have been so blessed since then. I lead a sm group & randomly serve. CR pushes nurtures & grows me.
God healed my friend Marty from stage 4 prostate cancer. Friends, family, and co-volunteers gathered around him and prayed for him in the Florence chapel and God did a miracle.
In 2019, I brought myself to come to Crossroads by myself. I came at a time when I was very depressed and had terrible thoughts. The service spoke to me and really reminded me that I am loved and that I am here for a reason. That was really a turning point for me and I’d say God saved my life.
When l got custody of my 4 great nephews, Crossroads provided me with a 1998 Honda Oddessey which was a great blessing and we have come for the past 10 years ever since l got them. I have been coming much longer and really loved the Awaited shows. Also my niece and my dad’s memorial services.
As part of GoLocal2020, I got to build a swingset for a family in need, with a young girl who had special needs and was desperate for outdoor recess in the all digital school age during the pandemic.
So thankful for how crossroads has helped me to be the man that I was meant to be. God has used Mancamp and my small group to overcome passivity and cause me to lead my family spiritually. Generations of my family will be blessed because of it.
Crossroads has taught me how to step into the adventures God is calling me to. I’ve learned to trust Him, and to see the roles I can play in His mission. This video is a friend from my Women’s Adventure Group. I started the group to encourage other women to step into their own adventures with God.
God showed us how to survive the highs & lows of infertility - Bringing together a support system through the IF group, that we’re not alone, to trust in Him & His perfect timing and to grow closer in relationship with Him.
God has proven His endless love time and time again, and makes love grow in my life in ways more than I could ever dream! My precious family is a prayer ever answered, and I thank God for them!
This moment in Africa changed my life. I met amazing ppl, making Crossroads feel smaller, I stepped out in faith to sing in front of people (which led to a job doing that very thing with CRSRDS 7 yrs later), and returned home an involved volunteer- which helped me to build lasting community.
Our first Couples Camp completely changed our relationship and brought God back into our lives! We will be forever grateful to Crossroads for this life changing experience. We then decided to become leaders, attending our second Couples Camp and watched God strengthen marriages throughout the weekend
I've been blessed by God through Crossroads in many ways. One of the greatest is how our church has helped me and Maria introduce our kids to Jesus. That means more than all the other benefits combined!!
Seeing parents come to our MSM groups celebration
My husband was reluctant to go church after a childhood where church was more a chore than a desire. After getting him to come to crossroads,we found out about couples camp. Our marriage was struggling and was headed down a bad road.We went to couples camp and it changed our marriage for the better!
God has done a ton of things in my life through Crossroads but Kids’ Club has had the largest impact. My wife and I have served for over a decade together, both our kiddos met Jesus, were baptized and I have been so blessed to meet so many amazing young people as well as their families!
I came to Crossroads because I heard that church is where you meet nice girls. What I received instead was God's grace and salvation. Since following Jesus, he has blessed me with more than I can recount. Thank you Crossroads for creating a space where I can encounter the living God!
Been with my daughter and son-in-law and my two grand kids at church.
I have been freed of financial worries and now surrender the first 10%. I put my trust in God through Crossroads’ stewardship.
Crossroads is a huge part of my family’s story. The biggest impact it’s had is giving us the opportunity to work with our partners in India. It has completely changed my life. Doing kingdom work globally has been an honor and I can’t wait to see what God does next.
Crossroads grew and challenged me in fully trusting God with my finances. He's truly blessed me financially, interpersonally and surpassed what I could dream of.
We rarely attended any church, in Dec of 2014 we attended Awaited, it led to us changing so much about our lives. We found a loving Father and He has given us so much. FAITH,GRACE,MERCY and Purpose. We are God's children and have found in Him via a Crossroads event our hope.

This guy wouldn’t be part of our family without Crossroads. Crossroads helped God open our hearts to the possibility of adding to our family and that brought Ryan into our home.
My 25 I thank God for keeping my family for the past 25 years. We first came to Crossroads 18 years ago, and are grateful for the Lord's abundant blessings on this ministry. I am currently praising God for healing my husband Jeff from throat cancer this year. Praise God for His Mercies to us!
I never found that church was able to "reach" me where I was and in the words I understood. Crossroads has changed that! I hear God and I look at life and my relationships differently. I am living a new life on the right path...on my path with God.
There are countless ways... our son went from not knowing Jesus to being the pastor at West Side. My husband and I both got baptized at Crossroads. Through groups we’ve seen healing and made lifelong friends. We volunteer regularly and through all of this our marriage has grown even stronger.
I’ve been going to Crossroads since I was a young kid, around 10-11, and I’m 17 now and this place has become such a beautiful and safe space for me to spend time with God and see him work through the people I call my second family. Crossroads has expanded my heart.
God has used Crossroads to bring me my husband. We have also been blessed with a beautiful daughter and second little girl on the way!
I started coming in 4th grade when crossroads mason opened up. I sobbed because I was scared to meet new people. Now I’m 21, I go to uptown, watched my fiancé come to crossroads and baptize his best friends. Crossroads uptown is a big reason I chose UC. I get to feel connected to my parents
When I started Crossroads the past of my sexual abuse could no longer be pushed down and I was desperate for healing. I heard about woman camp and left with a new sense of freedom. I joined at group at church called CST and found so much healing. God has transformed me and Crossroads has helped.
We started our small group and found a new forever family in the midst of a pandemic!
The same 8 people on Uptown’s 7PM Auditorium Team served together consistently for almost 2 years! We became a family very quickly and still keep in touch. I’m so thankful for my auditorium team family!
Crossroads has turned me from a cynical atheist into a Jesus loving baptized bona-fide Christ follower. That alone has impacted my life SO much but I can't tell you the number of other lives that have been impacted as well because God came after me. Thank you for the work you have done in my life!
At Crossroads, I discovered who God created me to be. I now embrace Gods unique purpose for me to be fully His. Also to do the unique ministry that He placed before me. I have brought several people to relationship with Him. I have worked with Him to bring freedom, true freedom. Thank You
Through Crossroads, I realized God wasn’t an angry father holding my failures against me. He is actually a loving Dad who offers forgiveness and a calling that far exceeds anything I could have done on my own.
As a child, my family didn’t attend church. At 26 I was unmarried and having my first child. I had a lot of guilt associated with that. After my son was born I was invited to attend Crossroads with a friend. I felt welcome and understood the messages. I was baptized at GoNola by that same friend. ♥️
We got to launch Whiz Kids up in Oxford for our Spanish speaking community and provide them with English classes and support.
I've travelled around the world on GO Trips having amazing experiences and meeting incredible people. But, taking my daughter to South Africa was something I'll never forget.
I found myself on a kayak in the middle of Cumberland asking God what was next and, as I look back, He took me out of a job I was afraid to leave in order to put me on my path.
God has delivered me from anger management issues, insecurities, low self-esteem, and he has brought me into a state of unconditional love for those who are important in my life and pure joy! Matt 6:33 helped me learn to put God first above anything else, and once I did, everything fell into place
God used Crossroads to speak in a way I could understand and was ready to really HEAR Him. My family is blessed and I'll never be the same.

I received prophetic prayer for the first time at Crossroads and what was shared has impacted my life decisions since.
To make me HUMBLE about the gifts He's given me, and to use those gifts to help others find HIM.
Long story short its been a rough past year most people say that because of Covid but I on the other hand went to prison, picked up a Bible from the chaplain and started reading. It was faith and God's message that gave me a safe passage through a horrible place.
Crossroads is where I first learned what real community looks like. I've had leaders who really care about me. I've made friends who encourage me. I have coworkers who believe in me. Those people have helped me feel less insecure & more confident in myself. I know that I'm not alone.
God has done more for me then I can fit in 300 words. In short, he brought me back home, blessed me abundantly and gave me my beautiful daughter.
God has used Crossroads to grow my faith, my walk, my marriage, and my compassion for others.
