General question

Where is the Leader Summit?
Base Camp, 420 Neville-Penn Schoolhouse Rd. Neville, OH 45120

I’ve never been to Base Camp. What should I expect?
Base Camp is a stretch of land that takes you a bit off the grid for focused time to make lifelong friendships, and connect with God in a meaningful way.

What should I bring if I’m only coming Saturday?
Everything is FREE but there a few things you'll want to pack. A camping chair and a refillable water bottle is your minimum requirement. Grab your comfortable shoes, sunglasses, your favorite hat, some sunscreen and a great attitude.

What can I expect during the summit?
Worship, teaching, inspiration, and lots of fun. You won’t want to miss this.

Will meals be provided?
Yep! Lunch on Saturday will be provided to all Leader Summit participants. (And for those camping on Friday, we’ve also got you covered for dinner on Friday and a light breakfast on Saturday.)

Will there be restroom facilities?
Absolutely! We’ll have plenty of clean port-a-lets. Who ever said roughing it wasn’t fun?

Will I have to walk far?
You’ll get to stretch your legs after the drive, with a healthy walk from your car to the main event. Hey...it’s good for your body and part of the experience of Base Camp! If you’re truly not able to make the walk, don’t worry...we’ve got you covered. Just let us know when you arrive.

I want to attend, but I can’t walk far.
Don’t let that stop you from coming. Please reach out to us at leadersummit@crossroads.net and we’ll find a solution for you!

Can I bring my pets, kids, and friends?
Pets and kids are a hard no… sorry. Friends however are a different story. If your friend is interested in leading around Crossroads, please invite them to join.

Is there cell reception out there?
Usually but it’s spotty. The emergency phone number for Base Camp is 513-697-2468.

Will water be provided?
Yep! Bring a refillable water bottle and we’ll make sure there’s plenty of water to keep you hydrated.

Will I get wet?
It’s possible. There’s a pond and water slide. Are you the adventurous type? If so, you may want to bring a change of clothes.

What if the weather doesn't cooperate?
A little rain won't slow us down.  A thunderstorm...well...that might have us meeting indoors instead. If it comes to that we'll make a call and let you know by 5pm on Thursday via email.

Will there be group transportation from my site to Base Camp?
Stay tuned, sites will be sending more information about any group transportation options in future emails. Hanging together on the bus ride is a fantastic way to meet more people. If you prefer to drive, we highly encourage carpooling to Base Camp.

Are there any accommodations if I am a wheelchair user?
Please email us at leadersummit@crossroads.net and let us know what you need. A teammate will get back to you shortly.

Will you be streaming the event?
It's designed as an extended in-person event, and will not be live streamed.

What if I’m concerned about COVID?
Rest easy. This event is entirely outdoors. If you prefer some personal space, there’s plenty of room to spread out. We’ll also have lots of sanitizer, and you won’t see any open food buffet lines. Feel free to wear your masks, but they are not required.
