BLOC Ministry lives and works with the people of the streets in Price Hill and Cleves area. We live and work in these areas in order to be the best neighbor we can possibly be and to share the hope that we are far greater than our worst mistakes.
BLOC Women's Ministry:
BLOC Women's Ministry's mission is to help the women of Price Hill that are struggling with sex-trafficking/substance abuse break generational chains and walk in freedom as the women they were created to be. We offer three different programs for women and girls: Commitment is high due to the need to establish relationships.
Weightless Anchor: Cook meals, wash laundry, and help meet basic needs of women currently struggling with addiction. (1x/week, high commitment)
Redeemed Home: Mentor, lead a Bible study, cook a meal, share a hobby, provide transportation to church or other events, or spend an afternoon or evening with women in recovery.
Girls Wanted: Mentor and help facilitate small groups of at-risk teenagers (Tuesday Nights, high commitment)
After School Programs
Tutoring, mentoring, leadership training, and relationship building. Anything and everything in order to build relationships with kids and families.
BLOC Sports Performance
Mentor, tutoring, and performance training. BLOC Sports Performance train the bodies, heal the souls, and grows the spirits of at-risk male teenage athletes in inner city Cincinnati.
Food Pantry/Soup Kitchen
Cook, clean, serve meals and relationship building. This is a weekly service opportunity for community members who are looking for a hot meal and hospitality.
Job training and entrepreneurship from anything to coffee, screen printing, letter press, wood working. The goal is to give men and women second chances and help them to become productive members of society.
Reflecting Gods love through art. This includes pottery studio, dance classes, studio space, art classes, story telling and more.
