Nepal / November / Men's Trip

11/5/2022 - 11/15/2022

No one has ever returned from India or Nepal unchanged. You’ll be immersed in a culture that awakens all your senses and gives you a powerful, concrete understanding of the justice work happening every day to fight human trafficking and the exploitation of women and children. Each trip to India and Nepal has its own purpose, but every experience will take you deep into the heart of others and give you the chance to be part of God’s movement toward radical freedom—and this freedom awaits you, too.

Due to partner requirements, all participants will be required to show proof of being fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine.

We will also be following all guidelines and requirements from the CDC, local authorities in Nepal, and any rules of vendors, venues and partners. If the guidelines change prior to the trip we will adjust the expectations.

Due to the current climate and rapidly changing landscape involving COVID-19, our international partners have communicated that in order to create the safest environment for everyone involved, especially the children and families whom they serve, all trip participants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

All trip deposits and total costs are non-refundable and must be paid via credit card or ACH. Cash, checks and money orders are not accepted.

Day 1

The journey begins with a relaxing flight across the globe to Kathmandu. Dress comfortably, bring your favorite book(s), and prepare to enjoy the inflight movies. It’s gonna be a (long) great day!

Day 2

Arrive in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal—a melting pot of cultures and a rich mix of east and west, old and new.

Day 3

We’ll tour Nepal with Five 14 and experience the landscapes that lend some of the best trekking, climbing, rafting and adventure in the world. Five14 combines tours off-the-beaten-path with fostering local businesses and jobs in Nepal’s vulnerable cities.

Day 4-8

The next five days will be spent working with The Apple of God’s Eyes. The work will vary, and we’ll do whatever best assists our partner. We may run a day camp for survivors, work on construction projects for freedom businesses, or deep clean/paint homes.

Day 9

Nepal has some of the best sightseeing opportunities you can experience in any country. Today will be a time to rest and explore the colorful landscape.

Day 10

It’s been a long, productive, spirit-filled week, but now it’s time to head home.

Day 11

Arrive home. Your family and friends have missed you but wow, you need sleep. Be prepared to share your experience, but also be sure to rest. That jet lag is no joke.

While in Kathmandu, we will stay at a comfortable Bed & Breakfast or Hotel.

That may sound like a lot, but you should know this covers everything (flight, hotel, meals, activities, etc.), and this is a number you’re meant to tackle with your friends and family. Of all of our trip participants, only 5% have had to contribute to their own trip. Get ideas for support raising

It takes over 24 hours to get there and we fly on a commercial airline. Listen to all of your favorite Spotify playlists twice, catch up on sleep, talk to your traveling companions, sleep some more, read, watch movies on your 21st century in-seat entertainment system, or just do nothing…which you probably haven’t done in a long time.
