In addition, poverty, unemployment, and limited access to education and healthcare have disproportionately affected vulnerable populations including women, children, and indigenous communities.

But there is hope......you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of those impacted by recent disasters by working to rebuild their homes. You will work with local organizations to repair infrastructure and restore hope. Through your work and interactions you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the challenges facing communities impacted by natural disasters and explore ways to support long-term recovery efforts.
