The following is a list of counselors who have been referred to us by people who attend Crossroads, friends and staff. This is not a comprehensive listing of Christian counselors in your area; we know that there are many more well qualified counselors who integrate their Christian faith with their counseling work. The list is updated periodically and the information is subject to change.

Alternately, you might find a counselor who is helpful to you that is not affiliated with a particular faith. Regardless of whether you choose a counselor that incorporates your faith into the sessions or not, we hope this information will be helpful in your search.

Most of these counselors do individual, marriage and family counseling, and work with clients on a variety of concerns, including: depression, anxiety, stress management, relationship issues, grief, anger management, mental and emotional disorders, chemical dependency, sex addiction, compulsive behaviors, recovery from abuse, men’s and women’s issues, pre-marital counseling and more.

The Third Option
The Third Option is NOT counseling - it is peer ministry. It is an educational and support group where we learn and encourage each other along the way. It combines a support group, mentor couples, and workshops about relationship skills. The mission is to inspire and encourage people to build healthy relationships in their marriage, family, work place and community by accepting responsibility for their own thoughts, feelings, choices and behaviors.
We have a local branch of this ministry called The Marriage School. They provide a safe environment with a practical and proven educational program to help you grow towards a healthier and stronger marriage.
