See what happens when hundreds of Americans join with hundreds of South Africans to give people hope on the other side of the world.
Over the past three years, Crossroads has sent nearly 1,000 people to work with our partner church, Charity & Faith Mission Church, in Mamelodi, South Africa. Mamelodi is a township community of nearly 1 million people that is being ravaged by HIV/AIDS, crushing unemployment and poverty, and a population of orphans that is growing exponentially. Charity & Faith, however, is a light for this impoverished township and we are doing whatever we can to help them succeed in bringing healing and relief to the hurting people of Mamelodi.
This November, over 400 more people from the United States will travel to Mamelodi to build homes, plant food, transfer much needed skills, love on kids, and, most importantly, continue to build relationships with our friends in South Africa. It is called GO Mamelodi and it is our attempt to change the world.
