GO Mamelodi
Be / do / love / hope for something bigger than yourself.Background
Over the past four years, Crossroads has sent over 1,600 people to work with
our partner church, Charity & Faith Mission Church, in Mamelodi, South Africa.
Mamelodi is a township community of nearly one million people that is being
ravaged by HIV/AIDS, crushing unemployment and poverty, and a population of
orphans that is growing exponentially. Charity & Faith, however, is a
light for this impoverished township, and we are doing whatever we can to
help them succeed in bringing healing and relief to the hurting people of Mamelodi.
In April 2010, over 400 people from the United States traveled to Mamelodi to
build homes, plant food, transfer much needed skills, bless kids, and, most
importantly, build relationships with our friends in South Africa, as we have
several times before. This is GO Mamelodi. And we’ll go again soon.
