God tells us to care for children in need so that they feel loved. So we do.
Every Christmas season, we get to give gifts to children in need—some of whom have a parent in prison, some we know through Whiz Kids and other relationships in the area.
People from our Crossroads communities buy, wrap and deliver the gifts. It’s a unique opportunity to help reconcile a separated child to their incarcerated parent, to encourage a child who might be struggling in school and to show the love of Jesus to a child in foster care. We need help giving out gift tags in the Atriums and organizing gifts in the gift storage areas at all sites before and after the weekend services November 28-29, December 5-6 and December 12-13.
Awaited shows begin on December 4 so special Angel Tree serving times before and after the shows are available at Oakley only.
Volunteers are needed on Saturday, December 19, 9am-Noon at all sites to deliver the gifts. Kids welcome!
