God tells us to care for children in need so that they feel loved. So we do.
Every Christmas season, we get to give gifts to children in need—some of whom have a parent in prison, some we know through Whiz Kids and other relationships in the area. People from our Crossroads communities buy, wrap and deliver the gifts.
It’s a unique opportunity to help reconcile a separated child to their incarcerated parent, to encourage a child who might be struggling in school and to show the love of Jesus to a child in foster care.
Serve behind the scenes:
We need help giving out gift tags in the Atriums and organizing gifts in the gift storage areas at sites before and after the weekend services November 29-30, December 7-8 and December 14-15.
